You must show your library card to check out items from the library. Books, Audiobooks, and Music CDs may be checked out for 2 weeks. Videos and DVDs may be checked out for 1 week.
Books may be renewed by telephone as long as there is no reserve on the book Please have your library card number ready. Videos, DVDs & Music CDs are not renewable. Reserved books will be held for 2 days after the patron is notified.
Interlibrary loan materials will be held for 2 days after notification. |

PUBLIC COMPUTERS & INTERNET USE RULES |
| 1. You must have and show your Millbrook Public Library card to a Library Staff Member before you use the computers. You are required to sign in at the circulation desk. First time users are required to fill out and sign a registration form. |
| 2. Chat rooms are not allowed. |
| 3. Do not change files or add files to the computers. |
| 4. No disks or CDs may be brought into the library for use in our computers. You may purchase a disk for saving or downloading files at the circulation desk for $1.00. |
| 5. You may print documents at a cost of $.20 for black and white copies or $1.00 for color copies. |
| 6. E-mail can be sent and viewed from your personal account. |
| 7. There is a one-hour time limit for all computer usage. Educational usage has priority over all. |
| 8. Children under the age of 19 must have a parent or legal guardian read and sign an authorization & permission form available at the circulation desk. Children under 10 years of age must have a parent or legal guardian with them at the computers. |
| 9. No more than two people are allowed at one terminal at the same time. |
| 10. If you are using the computer and you create a disturbance you will be asked to get off the system. |
| 11. In view of the Library's status as a public facility, the following actions will not be allowed: displaying obscene or disruptive messages, files, or images. (As defined by Alabama code 13A-12-200.1) |
| 12. Anyone failing to observe these rules shall not be allowed access to the Library' s computers for six months. A second infraction will result in permanent loss of access. |
